Training & Placement Cell
The Institute believes that the entire placement exercise is a collaborative effort between the Institution and the students. The Institute values the significance of overall development of personality and to achieve the same efforts are dedicated through interactions on Communication Skills, Negotiation Skills, Critical Reasoning Ability, Right Attitude, Self Image, Motivation, Goals, Resume Writing, Mock Interviews etc.
Placement Cell organizes the Industrial Tours for students headed by Faculty Members for respective department every year to different locations (i.e. Delhi & NCR, Dehradun, Sidcul - Haridwar, Chandigarh, Ahmedabad, Pune & Bangalore) to develop in them the awareness for placement.
A major thrust of the placement cell is to constantly liaise with the industry to update prospective employers of the skills levels of the students and secure commitments for Campus Placements.
Final Placement
Our endeavour is to ensure as best placement as possible for all our out-going students. The process commences with interaction with different organisations of repute who appoint Management / Technical graduates from premier/reputed Management Institutions regularly.
We invite these organisations to visit our institute and hold on-campus interview, group discussion and personal interview. They make Pre-Placement Talk and .after students opting for them, they carry out the selection process which sometimes includes group discussion and personal interview. Based on the performance, the selected students are issued placement offers. Some of the students get Pre-Placement offer immediately after their summer training. The students join the organisation on due dates after completion of the entire course and appearing in the final examination.

Summer Internship
An important aspect of a professional Institute is its job profile. NIIT has close relationship with leading organizations to provide the necessary interaction to students with expert engineers/professionals. The training and placement cell provides assistance to all students in three ways namely:
1. Training opportunities in industries, R & D centers and public/private firms.
2. Placement in reputed national and multinational Industries.
3. Counseling for higher education prospects.
The process starts with interaction with different organisations of repute who select Management / Technical Graduates from premier/reputed technical institutions regularly. For this purpose the Institute maintains a database of the organisations where our students are placed for summer training. Further, every year we progressively add the names of new organisations those are Interested in allowing our students to undertake summer training in their organisations.
